Jackie Haley

Marketing Campaigns Manager

I enjoy building campaigns that make marketing feel less overwhelming for busy founders. As Marketing Campaigns Manager at Make the Break, I genuinely love helping renewable energy companies find their voice and share their stories with confidence.

My journey into renewables wasn’t exactly linear. I started in the traditional marketing
world at Direct Wines, working with print campaigns and direct mail – the kind of
marketing that feels worlds away from today’s digital landscape. When I moved to Bristol to work with Averys Wine Merchants, I couldn’t help but dive headfirst into digital
marketing and social media. That transition taught me that the best marketing happens
when you’re willing to evolve with your industry.

One project I’m particularly proud of was launching the Averys website from scratch and watching it grow from £0 to £1,000,000 in revenue within a year.

More recently, I’ve been working closely with Ternan Energy, our biggest client, completely transforming their branding and messaging, and launching their hugely successful event, The Great Debate.

What I love most about working in renewables is partnering with engineers and founders who are brilliant at what they do but often feel lost when it comes to marketing. There’s something deeply satisfying about taking complex technical innovations and helping companies communicate their value in ways that actually resonate.

When I’m not crafting campaigns, you’ll find me exploring new places (I’m always planning the next adventure), walking my dog, or being thoroughly entertained by my new grandson who keeps life wonderfully unpredictable.
