I’m Damien, Account Manager at Make the Break, where I work with businesses committed to delivering the energy transition. What drives me is helping founders who are genuinely changing the world but don’t always have time to shout about it properly. I get to bridge that gap between brilliant innovation and meaningful connections.

I’ve taken the winding path from there to here. I’ve managed the family food wholesale business in Australia, worked in operations and marketing teams within the retail energy sector and education publishing in the UK, built my own small marketing agency, and worked both agency and client-side across the public and private sectors. Along the way, I’ve helped clients pull off ambitious projects like successful offshore wind conferences and launching new products at Europe’s largest energy events. What I love most about this work is the opportunity to connect with people. Whether I’m chatting with a graduate intern or presenting to a CEO, I like every conversation to be natural and productive.

When I’m not helping brands in renewables grow faster, you’ll find me planning my next travel adventure, walking my dogs, buried in a good book, or occasionally dusting off my neglected guitar.
